2025 Display

The Bannock Road Christmas Lights Display lit up the festive season in 2024 – and again in 2025, for the second year running, it proudly supported Operation Airbase, an appeal launched by Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.

Since taking to the skies in 2007, the Air Ambulance team of doctors, dispatchers, paramedics and pilots has responded to more than 20,000 emergencies across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. Their mission is to deliver hospital-level critical care wherever patients need it most – whether at the roadside, beachside, countryside or bedside – giving people the best possible chance of survival and recovery when every second counts.

Operation Airbase represents the charity’s most ambitious step forward to date. By relocating to a new, purpose-built airbase near Southampton Airport, the team aims to place themselves at the heart of the community, reducing response times to the majority of their calls and securing the future of this life-saving service.

With construction already underway, public support remains vital to making this move possible. The Bannock Road Christmas Lights Display was proud to play its part in both 2024 and 2025, helping to raise funds for Operation Airbase – bringing festive cheer while supporting a cause that delivers hope and critical care to those who need it most.

£1,600 raised for HAIOWAA Operation Airbase in 2025.
